Who we are: Eleventh Hour Brewing Company is a family owned brewery located in Lower Lawrenceville. We opened in 2017 and operate a production brewery & taproom space on Charlotte Street, in addition to participating in off site events such as pop ups and festivals. Our focus is local, using the best ingredients and processes to create high quality products to be served in a warm, approachable atmosphere. 

Who we’re looking for: If you’re engaging, personable, and want to contribute to the goal of creating a taproom experience that’s welcoming to everyone, then this job is for you. Bartending experience and a passion for local craft beer is preferred but not required. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

What you’ll do: Our bartenders are the direct point of contact for our taproom guests and are therefore responsible for creating a welcoming, approachable environment. Duties include serving customers, washing glasses, general taproom cleaning, and the potential to work offsite events. 

Your schedule: The taproom is open 6 days a week and closed on Mondays. Bartender shifts range from 5 - 8 hours. Weekend availability is a must for this position, the majority of available shifts are on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.

Duties:

  • Welcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take

  • drink orders

  • Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons

  • Pour all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to maintain quality and consistency

  • Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar satisfied at all times

  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age requirements

  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

  • Inform customers about new beverages and specials

  • Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons

  • Maintain a clean work and taproom area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment

  • Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department

  • Clean taproom, restrooms and other facility areas at the end of the night and as needed

Preferred experience/certifications:

  • Service industry experience

  • RAMP Training

  • Cicerone or comparable certification

  • Home brewing or beer industry experience
